Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Sachov Art website and apply to all visitors, collectors and partners who access or use this site, including enquiries about limited edition prints, exhibitions and gallery collaborations.

1. About this website

1.1 This website is operated by Sachov Art OÜ (“Sachov Art”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and is dedicated to presenting the artworks and photography of Alexej Sachov, including information about exhibitions, collaborations and the purchase of limited edition fine art prints.

1.2 By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Use of the website

2.1 You agree to use this website in a lawful, respectful manner and not to engage in any activity that could harm the website, interfere with its operation, or negatively affect other users.

2.2 You must not upload, share or transmit any content that is offensive, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or otherwise in violation of applicable laws.

2.3 We reserve the right to restrict access to the website or remove content if we reasonably believe that these Terms & Conditions have been violated.

3. Artwork information, prices & availability

3.1 We aim to provide accurate information about artworks, editions, sizes and availability. However, minor variations in colour or appearance may occur due to screen settings or printing processes.

3.2 Prices, edition sizes and availability are subject to change without prior notice. Certain works may become unavailable at any time, for example when an edition is sold out.

4. Purchases & payments

4.1 Purchases of limited edition prints or other works are usually arranged by direct contact (email, WhatsApp or gallery partners). Payment details and final conditions may be confirmed individually by invoice or written agreement.

4.2 Unless otherwise agreed, we accept payments via PayPal, credit cards and bank transfer in EUR, GBP and USD.

4.3 All sales are considered final once payment is received, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise. If there is an issue with your order (for example, damage in transit), please contact us as soon as possible and within 30 days so we can review and assist.

5. Shipping, delivery & customs

5.1 Shipping options, costs, delivery times and insurance are usually specified in the offer or invoice. We will use reasonable care to ensure that works are packaged and shipped securely.

5.2 If shipments are sent outside the European Union, you may be responsible for any customs duties, taxes or import fees charged by your local authorities.

5.3 Risk of loss passes to you when the artwork is handed over to the carrier, unless otherwise required by applicable law or explicitly agreed in writing.

6. Replacement of damaged artworks

6.1 In line with the practice of leading international art galleries, Sachov Art offers collectors a replacement service for limited edition prints that are accidentally damaged after purchase, without a fixed time limit, subject to the conditions in this section.

6.2 This service is available only for original artworks produced and sold by Sachov Art or its authorised partners, and only where the collector is able to present the original first part of the Certificate of Authenticity bearing the holographic seal. If this part of the certificate is lost, destroyed or unavailable, Sachov Art is not obliged to provide a replacement.

6.3 The service is limited to one replacement per artwork and Certificate of Authenticity. The replacement consists of producing a new print of the same artwork (or, if the original materials or technology are no longer available, the closest technically reasonable equivalent). Any replacement print will be recorded in the Sachov Art archive and will not increase the edition size; where appropriate, it may be documented as a replacement print.

6.4 The collector is responsible for all costs associated with the replacement, including but not limited to printing, mounting or framing (if requested), packaging, shipping, insurance and a reasonable processing/administration fee. These costs will be communicated in advance in writing and must be paid before the replacement is produced or shipped.

6.5 Sachov Art may ask to see photographs of the damage and/or request that the damaged print be returned or destroyed before issuing a replacement. This service does not apply to works that have been lost or stolen and does not cover any indirect, consequential or market-related loss (for example, loss of resale value).

6.6 This replacement service is offered on a voluntary, goodwill basis by Sachov Art or its lawful successors for as long as they continue to operate and are technically able to produce the relevant print. Sachov Art reserves the right to decline a replacement request where ownership, authenticity or the nature of the damage cannot be reasonably verified, or where providing a replacement would compromise the integrity of the edition. We reserve the right to adapt or discontinue the service for future purchases at any time, but changes will not affect replacement requests that have already been accepted. This section does not limit your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
